Although she faces challenges in how she lives her life in a number of areas, she loves to roast coffee and is doing a great job as well. That’s why our phrase, “Special coffee roasted by special people” is true. Our goal is to hire more people with developmental disabilities as our roasting company grows.

Who We Are:
We were founded in 2010, and are a gourmet specialty coffee business located in the Furnace Hills of Westminster, Maryland. We continue to fulfill our customers wishes by supplying them with freshly roasted bags of specialty coffee and delivering it right to their doorsteps. In October 2021, Furnace Hills Coffee was purchased by Generous Brands, a subsidiary of Haven Camps, Inc., a year round camp and retreat ministry for persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, based in Rome NY. All of our coffee is now roasted in their Log Cabin Roastery at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center. What We Do: From the far away regions of Ethiopia, to the shade covered mountain slopes of Honduras, we look far and wide to gather the highest quality beans from around the world. We freshly roast our coffee, package it in vacuum-sealed valve bags, and immediately ship it to you. This is how we ensure that you receive your coffee in the freshest condition possible. Why We Do What We Do: A cup of coffee is more than just a caffeine jolt; it is an experience that should be savored one sip after the next. This is why we are dedicated to providing our customers with only the best available. A Growing Passion: We set out with a resolve to change the expectations of coffee, and as the years go by, we began to craft our own blends and offer more coffees from different regions of the world.
